Works of Brett Morris

Brett Morris is a Sydney based Motion Graphics Designer, App developer and Entrepreneur. 9 to 5, he can be found creating on air branding, title packages and promos for Australia’s premiere cable network, Foxtel. In his role as 3D Broadcast Designer for Foxtel’s On Demand pay-per view movie service, Brett recently drove the concept, direction and animation for the channel rebrand by creating the Genre Idents (as seen throughout his website), which have been screening on Foxtel since February.

By night, you’ll find Brett working on any number of projects. Together with developer Pat Teen, they have created a first of its kind reference app for designers using Cinema 4D and After Effects programs; Keybox. Following their successful launches, plans for a master app; Keybox 2.0 (incorporating a range of design programs including Photoshop, InDesign and Final Cut Pro) is in production.

Brett has also been a contributing writer to the website Motionworks. Together with it’s founder; John Dickinson, the pair have developed a tool kit for Cinema 4D users; MovieType, which works to create movie trailer style text animations fast and without keyframes – guaranteed to be a breeze for users of the program. MovieType is set for release within the month.

Prior to Foxtel, Brett worked at a production company called Interactive Originals for 5 years. Previous work included providing live content for a range of live events and television broadcasts, such as Big Brother Australia, Make Me a Super Model, ARIA’s and MTV Video Music Awards to name a few. Brett’s end goal in sight is to work with major design houses across the world, including Onesize, Capacity and Man Vs Machine.
